Whether you’re a new to lifting, returning after time away, or ready to take your training to a new level, I’ll meet you where you are at and guide you every step of the way.

Sessions take place in my private studio over looking beautiful views across Kimpton Village. It’s a calm and welcoming space to train.

Outdoor Circuit Training in Kimpton, Herts

If you want to feel fitter, stronger and more capable, come and join us! Elevate your fitness in our 45/50 minute coached outdoor training sessions designed to challenge and invigorate you.

Each session is a full body workout combining strength, cardio and core training. Using kettlebells, dumbbells, slam balls and a variety of other equipment, we have a range of weights available. All exercises are scalable to work for all levels, beginners through to seasoned boot campers.

With a focus on consistency (because that’s what gets results) many of the original imPRovfit Together members (who started in 2021) continue to train twice a week now, and they still love it!

Book a trial and come and experience it for yourself. And if you’re not sure if it’s for you… that’s normal. Most people feel like that before their first session, and end up wondering why they didn’t start sooner.

imPRovfit Small Group
and 2-2-1 Training

Structured strength training in small groups (up to three people), designed to get you stronger, more confidence and more independent in your training.

Sessions are focused on progressive strength training and run in 6 week blocks. With close coaching throughout, I’m there to guide and improve your technique, keep you progressing, and help you get the most out of every session.

One of my key goals for all my clients is confidence. Overtime clients go from feeling unsure and intimidated by gym environments to being able to train independently with confidence and purpose.

Training in a small group brings a great balance – it’s supportive, social and enjoyable. You’ll be encouraged to push yourself and enjoy the process.

imPRovfit Active

A face-to-face training programme for older adults in/ around Kimpton. Each session will include a variety of exercises that will progressively increase your strength, mobility, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness.

You will use bodyweight, alongside resistance bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, and weighted balls. There is no running, and all exercises are joint-friendly (low impact).

Sessions are 45 minutes long and held at the imPRovfit Fitness Studio on Kimpton Recreation Ground.

This small group format has no more than 5 people, meaning you will receive expert guidance and can train at your level. Exercises will be adapted to meet your needs and take any long-term health conditions (for example high blood pressure or arthritis) into account.

My Journey to Health and Empowerment

Hello, I’m Pippa. For most of my life, exercise wasn’t part of my routine. I had horses and convinced myself that looking after them was enough to keep me fit. In 1999, everything changed when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that left me bedridden and reliant on steroids, leading to weight gain and a exhausted, weakened body. Any exertion left me exhausted, unable to work or engage in physical activity.

Determined to improve my health, I decided to make a concentrated effort to get fitter and change my nutrition. The journey wasn’t easy; the next few years were marked by sporadic attempts at personal training sessions and inconsistent nutrition habits. Frustrated by the fluctuations in my weight and overall health, I knew I needed a sustainable solution.

The breakthrough came when I started lifting weights and paying close attention to my nutrition. Not only did my body transform, but so did my mindset. I fell in love with fitness and felt a passion ignite within me. This newfound love for exercise empowered me in ways I never imagined.

I wanted to learn more about planning, exercise, and nutrition, and qualified as a personal trainer in February 2021. Through this journey, I realised I could help others who felt just like I did—lacking confidence and unsure where to start.

Today, I am dedicated to helping others find their path to prioritising their health and building a strong capable body they can live confidently in. I understand what it’s like to feel lost and overwhelmed by the thought of starting a fitness journey. But I am here to guide you, support you, and show you that it’s possible to transform your life through exercise and proper nutrition.
